Chlortetracycline (CTC) is an economical broad-spectrum antibiotic for multiple species. Benefits of feeding CTC are: 1) Increased weight gain (sheep and cattle), 2) Improved feed efficiency (sheep and cattle), 3) Reduced incidence of abortion (vibrionic) caused by campylobacter fetus infection susceptible to chlortetracycline (sheep), 4) Control of bacterial pneumonia associated with shipping fever complex susceptible to chlortetracycline (cattle), 5) Reduction of liver condemnation due to liver abscesses in growing cattle (over 400 lb.), 6) Control of active infection of anaplasmosis caused by anaplasma marginale susceptible to chlortetracycline, and 7) For treatment of bacterial enteritis caused by Escherichia coli and bacterial pneumonia caused by Pasteurella multocida susceptible to chlortetracycline (all calves and non-lactating cattle).

Altosid® IGR

Altosid IGR is an Insect Growth Regulator (IGR) that passes through the animal and into the manure, where horn flies lay their eggs. It breaks the horn fly life cycle by preventing pupae from developing into biting adult flies. The active ingredient in Altosid IGR is (S)-Methoprene, a copy of the horn fly’s own biochemicals. (S)-Methoprene even controls horn flies resistant to the organophosphates and pyrethroids commonly used in conventional horn fly control products. In more than 25 years of use, there have been no known cases of flies being resistant to (S)-Methoprene. Altosid IGR is a convenient way to control horn flies in beef and dairy cattle.


Bovatec is a growth promoter for pasture cattle on all forages during any season. Bovatec (lasalocid) an ionophore widely used in cattle to control coccidiosis and optimize feed efficiency/gain. Because feeds containing Bovatec are highly palatable, no step-up programs are ever required. Bovatec also has a wide margin of safety. Its toxicity level is one-half that of monensin’s. In safety trials, researchers showed Bovatec could be fed 5 times the recommended dose level with no adverse affect on cattle. Using Bovatec also leads to improved performance and returns.


MOS (Mannan olgosaccarides) plays an important role in beef cattle health and production.

MOS is a complex carbohydrate derived from a select strain of yeast that assists in maintaining beef cattle performance. MOS fed cattle have been shown to maintain optimal growth, even under stressful conditions. Feeding MOS may prevent certain pathogens from attaching to the gut wall.


Feeding Rumensin helps beef and dairy producers provide nutritious meat and milk more efficiently by enabling cattle to obtain more energy from every ration. Other benefits of feeding Rumensin are: 1) protection of investments by increasing the selling weight of stockers while preventing and controlling coccidiosis 2) in dairy cows, by increasing milk-production efficiency throughout lactation and the dry period 3) prevention and control of diseases to improve the quality and nutrition of the food they produce. Feeding Rumensin also prevents and controls coccidiosis in all cattle types - feedlot, stocker, beef & dairy replacement heifers, beef cows and calves - therefore reducing the challenge of the disease and improving cattle performance.


Rabon oral larvicide is a feed-through fly control product that kills fly larvae of all four fly species – horn flies, face flies, house flies, and stable flies. Rabon does not cause any insect resistance issues after prolonged feeding and remains active for up to six weeks. Rabon is EPA approved for beef cattle, lactating dairy cows, horses and swine. Rabon has no environmental issues and does not harm soil, water, plants, or beneficial insects such as dung beetles.
